After over 20 years of waiting, the [remastered CD|remastered CD] versions of The Beatles studio albums are finally going to be available on CD on 9/9/9. The 1980s CD versions are thought by most to be a very poor example of mastering for CD which is a big reason why people have been wanting new better versions for so long.

Encouraging Natural Music Learning

It's only recently that I have really appreciated the inspiration I received through growing up in a musical household. Both my mother and father were amateur musicians, my mum playing piano and dad playing jazz guitar.

Having children of my own I can see how they have benefited from having access to guitars and other musical instruments as they've grown up. We've never forced them to attend music lessons or learn the piano or violin against their will. Instead we've given them the space they need to develop their own individual interests, just as I was, and we think that this approach has been very good for them.

Nina Sky Music – An Introduction

Nicole and Natalie Albino are the voices that make up Nina Sky. Though they had a childhood marked by music experiences of a variety of kinds, Nina Sky girls only got known on the market in 2004. They both play drums and the guitar and they were educated in a very eclectic music background by their DJ step dad. They composed  their first song at the age of seven and by the time they turned ten they were committed to becoming singers. It took some very good years afterwards for Nina Sky to finally get the chance to show artistic talent on stage.

US Air Guitar Champion Leads World Record

The world record for the biggest ever air guitar ensemble just one month after the record had been previously broken.

The event took place at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, in New York, after the Wednesday matinee performance of the hit broadway show, Rock of Ages, had finished. Overall 810 members of the cast, crew and audience took part in the record while rocking out to 'Don't Stop Believin' by Journey for 2 minutes and 34 seconds using their air guitars. A Guinness World Record Official watched over the event while counting the amount of people in the crowd and ensuring everyone was in tune. The crowd of 820 guitar players was lead by William Ocean, the 2007 US National Air Guitar champion, there really is one.

Protecting Hearing At Concerts With Acoustic Foam

Reducing the amount of airborne noise is the purpose of sound absorbing acoustic foam. Acoustic foam works by absorbing noise in a room instead of allowing it to bounce of the walls, thus reducing the overall levels of noise. This type of insulation is essential if a venue is to comply with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.
