Devil Woman Song – An Introduction

In 1976 Cliff Richard recorded the song "Devil Woman". It was a big hit, reaching number nine on the UK charts. In the USA it made it as far as number six on the Billboard Hot 100. That was Richard's biggest hit ever in the United States. Let's learn more about this famous song.

It was written by Terry Britten. He was English singer-songwriter who wrote songs for people like Tina Turner, Olivia Newton John, and even Michael Jackson. Some of his other songs include "What's Love Got to Do with It", and "We Don't Need Another Hero" from the movie "Mad Max Beyond Thunder Dome". Terry played the guitar on Cliff Richard's recording of the Devil Woman. The song was recorded at the famous Abbey Road, a frequent recording studio used by the Beatles.

Pantera’s Role in Heavy Metal History

Vinnie Paul and Darrel Abbot are the two Texan brothers who are the brainchild of the great band known as Pantera. Pantera was a heavy metal band that has rocked the world during the 80s. Vinnie was the band’s drummer and Darrell was the main guitarist. While there were a few personalities who have made short careers with the band, it was these two that stayed with the band from its creation in 1981 until the recent years.

In purchasing a used saxophone, the person buying the instrument should think about a number of things which emphasize the value of the price or amount paid on top of the purpose for which the saxophone is purchased. 

There are generally four types of saxophones available. The soprano saxophone, which has the highest pitch among the other saxophones, is considered as the least “user friendly” and is the most difficult to play.  That being said, beginners are recommended to steer clear of purchasing a soprano saxophone for practice.  The alto saxophone is suggested as the best practice saxophone for beginners and is most commonly used in school bands.  The third, the tenor saxophone is ideal for jazz tunes as well as some rock music.    The baritone saxophone is the most massive and is very heavy, so who use the instruments will have to put on some harness to support the instrument while it is being played.

What is Aerosmith Dream On?

Aerosmith Dream On was the first single ever created by the group. It was featured on their 1973 debut album, Aerosmith. Steven Tyler wrote the song with a lot of influence from the blues.

Aerosmith Dream On was the first major hit for the group. As a single it rose all the way to 59. But in 1976 it made it all the way up to number six during its re-release. The first live performance of this song took place at a tiny inn. Aerosmith Dream On was later released by the group in eight compilations, as well as on two boxed sets.
